Originally from New Jersey, Dave DeLuca is an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician and recording engineer who has been writing music and performing for over 40 years. In the 1980s he was the principal songwriter and lead singer of the New York City-based rock group "Wild Life" and won several songwriting contests. Over the last 10 years he has shared the stage with oldies groups such as The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, The Stylistics, Larry Chance & The Earls, Barbara Harris & The Toys, and The 1910 Fruitgum Company. In December 2011 Dave auditioned for and won a starring role in the Count Basie Theatre's 5th Annual Sinatra Birthday Bash, beating out hundreds of other hopeful performers. In 2015 Dave performed his one-man musical tribute, A Century Of Sinatra, to SRO crowds in over 60 public libraries in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in celebration of the centennial anniversary of Frank Sinatra's birth. He currently resides in the Tampa Bay area where he continues to perform music from the 1920s through the 1980s for residential communites, care facilities, libraries, adult communities and various organizations.

The Council is bringing Dave Deluca back to the Finegan Center on Saturday, October 7th 2023. His concert theme will be “The Crooner”. The Crooner is a musical tribute to the romantic songs made popular by male crooners such as Engelbert Humperdinck, Tony Bennett, Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin, Perry Como, Dean Martin, Mel Torme, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Louis Armstrong, and Johnny Mathis. If love is in the air, chances are that The Crooner is close at hand... The 90-minute show will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Finegan Center. The doors will open at 6:00p,m. Cheese and crackers, and various hot and cold appetizers will be served. BYOB . So, grab your spouse, have an early dinner and then bring your dancing shoes for a wonderful evening of music and dancing. The cost for this fun show is $25.00 per person, and seating is limited to 275. Tickets will go fast for this event.
